Short fat bottle? I got the rye and bourbon before reading reviews...so I haven't opened them.

Yeah, that's the one. Green label, no age statement, 95 proof on the rye.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that the new BMH juice is sourced and had nothing to do with the previous brand. The name was purchased and they are just riding on that. I almost jumped on a bottle a while back until I started reading terrible reviews and apparent misleading info from the current brand.

BMH has always been owned by the some group. The anomaly is that years ago they stumbled upon some really good aged SW juice. Once all that was gone they just started sourcing garbage and putting the same labels on it with no age statement.
i've read that new stuff in the squatty bottles is like turpentine

Ahhh, that was it. I couldn't remember what the story was. The new stuff is distilled in Oregon and is supposedly 4 years old. I knew something had changed along with the bottle. Thanks for the info.

Now I remember why this bottle has not been touched since the Derby party.

Absolutely not
I just found a 4R barrel select and knob creek next to my liquor stash that I apparently bought last night. Lol I had forgot about them.
