Hoping to add any to the collection this Christmas? What will be your next purchase? My favorite combo that I have is probably my Revo SX on a 7' MH Dobyns Savvy rod. Next thing I need is a new spinning reel to put on my catfish/bull red pole, saltwater finally ate up the cardinal 104 I had on there. Something cheap again.

It was a lame joke. Lew's reels always seem to have about double the bearings as any reel in the same price range, and if I'm not mistaken, are all metal. For $50 I figure I can determine what the catch is.

Reel is a Sage - it weights nothing. Saltwater - Rod is a 9ft 8wt that I built off a Sage blank. It has all titanium furniture. The reel on it is a Tibor Riptide. I would much rather fly fish if I could For baitcasting Curado reel on a 7ft rod that I made Spinning Shimano Stradic on a Diawa split grip rod.
