This is one hell of a D-line. Add in Hunter, who is going to be a beast, and possibly beckwith,along with this years freshmen LB's-front line is set for a few years at least!

LSU rotates a lot of D-lineman. Hunter, Rasco, Q.Thomas, Ego, Freak, Gilmore, Herron, Bain and maybe T. Lawson will all see playing time. Plus others already in school that aren't listed.

Very good DL class and setting us up for the next wave of top notch DL play. Grouped with Rasco, Hunter(who I think will be the best in a while at LSU), Thomas and Ferguson, we look good across the board. DT is still a little bit of a concern because most of these kids are so raw and just pure potential right now but I believe in Haley and Chavis to get them where we need them to be.
I'd be majorly suprised if Beckwith isn't a Tiger and that is only increased by the things Shea has to say these days. Beckwith and his family are not game players. They play things close to the vest for the most part but they're genuine and straightforward people that would not mislead our staff. Just because they haven't said anything definitive publically doesn't mean they haven't let the LSU and Bama staffs know exactly where they stand. That is LSU.

I think Patterson will be the steal of this class. He reminds a lot of Mingo. I think he might be a bit stronger though.
