I'm thinking about getting one ....I just want a cheap, manual one....although aluminum would be nice eh? Any advice...how much is that gonna set me back ...bout a 150" driveway and about an 80" section after that..

We just got one. Or two rather. Two ten foot sections with the automated arm on each. I wanted it for the same reasons you do, but keep it shut and locked all the time for safety reasons. It's awesome. Everyone has to go to the front door, no sneaking around in the back. Keep the clicker in my car like a garage door opener. 4500 I think.
