this is why I did not buy anything, I wanted to do some research first

You are just a couple of pounds away from your goal, right? You need to celebrate with some good craft beers soon!

Their Tsjeeses (pronounced Jesus ) Reserva is also killer.

Calandro's had those for half off last week. That's a really good beer. I liked that Tsjeeses better than Pannepot.

Second beer of the day is a Timber beast the brewer from Lazy mag gave me. I mentioned we still couldnt get it in BR..

I saw someone else from here asked them about that on Facebook so hopefully they'll rectify that.

Yeah, B evidently asked them about it. It makes no sense that it is in NOLA and TX but not in BR.

It's not BMC. The Flagraiser IPA is pretty good, as is the Trekker Tripel.

Damn. I haven't been to a beer store in a bit.

After the tab I had at Avenue pub last weekend it'll be a little while longer too.

Yep. Somebody.

Did you see Mockler's response? Total cop out. They seriously told me to go to Beerjobber to buy it. What a joke.

And what's the excuse for selling the Westy bricks for $120+????

quote:

More than anything else, Shelton wants to re-iterate that, regardless of supply chain/distribution costs, the Westvleteren XII boxes (a.k.a. bricks) containing six bottles of the beer and two logo-etched glasses is supposed to retail for exactly $84.99 wherever sold. That was the wish of Abbaye Sint Sixtus, who will use proceeds to restore parts of its deteriorating abbey.

Slumbrew, I think, is a gypsy brewery out of Massachusetts.

I've had the Flagraiser IPA and Porter. They weren't the best beers ever, but both were good and I would get again.

I still haven't had all the Pretty things beers that are available now.

Got some catching up to do.

That's not Mockler. International is the distributor for Westy. Better to overpay than not get at all. I can drive to NOLA or Jackson for Timber Beast. Belgium, not so much.
