I've never really been a fan of him but it's hard not to like him after what he did last night.

I was originally from around that area and the community has been in shock for several days.

Crazy what impact a single phone call can have

remember when he used to wear the scripture on the eye black? shite hit the fan pretty quick with that IIRC, and it resulted in banning all writing on eye black. It sure wasn't Reggie Bush's '619' causing issues.

The NCAA banned that shite because people were putting all sorts of things on the eye black. It wasn't because of tebow putting bible passages on his.

I think it is because he has been shoved down our throats. Nobody would argue that he's not a good person, but we don't need to hear about it at every turn. The fact that he is not a good QB in the NFL makes it more irritating.

tebow fan boys are terribly annoying

at least with people who love aaron rogers, peyton manning, drew brees, etc there's a great player at the heart of the hype

Which one of those players you named were on a level of popularity that matches Tebow? None of them are even remotely close. And who's to say that the others aren't? They're just not on the same platform.

You're right. Barry fricking Sanders was no where near as popular as Tebow.

Actually it was dudes putting all sorts of other random shite.

And a source from Fox News claiming Christian persecution? Shocking, considering that they still perpetuate the lie known as the "War on Christmas".

But back to the first point.

The reason that Kitna wasn't criticized while Tebow was is because Kitna wasn't hyped to the same level as Tebow. Danny Wuerffel was and is very, very religious and outwardly Christian. He wasn't criticized like Tebow.

It's not the faith aspect of things. It's the hype that was built up around him and the media's decision to follow his every move.

He should be scrutinized for his poor QB play. That's it.

The media coverage is coming to an end if Tebow doesbt get a start soon.

Bristol: RGIII, this is Mr. Tebow. Mr. Tebow, this is goodbye.
