In city limits. In a neighborhood. They're everywhere here in N Austin. They keep eating my pansies in my front yard. Any suggestions?

Is there no urban deer control policy there?

Air cannon and scare crows and maybe a pack of Walker Hounds in the yard.

Knowing Austin, I doubt it.

Electric fence setup with a wire high and one low.
My uncle does this in his yard in Amite. He lives outside of city limits in a rural area and the deer have been coming up to his house at night to raid his garden and my aunt's flower beds.
He put up a 2 wire cattle electric fence and this has seemed to work out for him.

Pet black panters or squatches work better

Good luck in finding a solution. I hear it's pretty tough in Austin area

In all seriousness, I see people using that tape. It must work. Saw some on 165 heading to Lake Charles this week.
The house near Brook's Brake uses multiple layers of electric fence. has it going up, and extending out to prevent jumping.
