AU seems to always benefit from the misfortune at other programs.

Cam Newton was kicked out of UF and ends up at Auburn to lead them to a national title. Now they are about to get a very good head coach who earlier this year was fired from his job in disgrace after lying to everyone he worked for and putting the University of Arkansas in a bad situation after circumventing the system to hire his mistress.
Like no other team in the SEC, AU has a way of pouncing on these people and using them to accomplish the true mission of their family.

I don't think they'll hire Petrino. I really thought UK would b/c they already sold their soul for Calipari.

Bobby Petrino would be hilariously easy to recruit against. For that reason I doubt he'll be at AU.

They deserve Petrino. that football program has stood for institutionalized cheating and dishonesty for a long long time. This move to hire BP removes all doubt. He will never beat Saban there
