If a coach making less than $4MM per yr wins NC, is Les overpaid

AD says that raise & extension is not about winning championships, but being in the mix. What?! When you make that kind of money, I expect perfection, or you should only lose to the coaches making more than you.
I love the game of college football, but this is getting idiotic. Chizik gets a multi-million dollar buyout & did not even when a SEC game this year. I believe that I could have done that walking in off of the street.

My main point is that you have the Les lovers who think that you should not criticize him at all. If the guy is making that kind of money, I can hold him accountable to whatever level that I want. Does he care? No, but get off of my back if I think the guy did not make a coaching decision reflective of the money he is paid.

So this $500K is the difference for you? When he was making $3.7M, mistakes were ok, but now that its $4.2M, he gets no leniency. Is that right?

No, it was not okay then either for me. I have always felt that we, as fans, can criticize all that we want because it goes with the territory. However, to increase pay & extension & say that it is not about winning championships, then why do it? My expectations ARE to WIN championships. It is those schools who pay that kind of money, but do not expect it that do NOT win championships.
