This is just false, the Rs control the house and even if true will get no traction....

Good thing I picked up an AR Friday...

Am I going to get in a boating accident later this year? Or is anything purchased pre-ban good to go?

Americans familiar with federal gun laws understand that under this scenario, semiautomatics and high capacity magazines could be acquired only with great difficulty and at great expense by America’s estimated 100 million law-abiding firearms owners, notes Snyder.

something like this would be much more likely...

I highly doubt if this is indeed true (and should pass) that any weapon on the list would be grandfathered in.

It would more than likely be illegal to possess and you would have to be caught with it..I would think.

Just looked up the HR 1022, 110th Congress and it is old. Looks to be a failed bill from 2007. Pretty sure it is still out there but i don't think it has been introduced for 112th congress. I would not let my guard down non the less since i truly believe the douche bags in washington will try some form of gun legislation in the next four years.
