I'm looking for a deal on a 30-06. I've been looking around on bayoushooter and one member recommended I check out Pelican Pawn in Denham and Superior Pawn in PA. Does anyone know of a pawn shop in BR with a good firearm selection? Or is this a bad route to pursue in general?

TIA

My experience in the past is Pawn shops are usually on the high side, you may be able to talk them down though. Have you checked LAsportsman or Bayoushooter?

If you can email me pictures to meekss@cox.net that would be great. Let me know the details: scope, price, where you're located, etc.

Pelican Pawn in Denham Springs has a decent inventory. BJ Pawn in DS has a bigger inventory. Not sure what you can count on from either regarding fair prices.

You'd better do a lot of homework if you're willing to look at a variety of guns. The guys at those shops have all the info in their hands, and if you make an impulse purchase, you might regret it.

Bought a Remington 1100 at Gold and Guns in Gonzales for a good price last year. Decent selection. Call them and ask what they have
