Follow up question who host family for thanksgiving:
At what age did your parents agree to come to your house for the meal? I'm 27 and am ready to start cooking and having my family and the in-laws over here

we hosted our first thanksgiving two years ago. It was a lot of work preparing for 8 ppl. I think next time we host we will use disposable plates, cups and utensils and ask everyone to bring a dish

That's what I was thinking. I would like the older folks to be able to still contribute so I was thinking about doing the turkey and have everyone else bring their favorite side
