5. Oregon (Beats Oregon State, Beats UCLA) (Pac-12 Champion)
6. Kansas State (Beats Texas)
7. Florida State (Beats Florida)
8. Clemson (Beats USCe)

ETA: Those aren't my rankings, just the different options.

Man, if Notre Dame loses, this will be a mess.

The fact that anyone would put Georgia over Oregon is a fricking joke.

I meant currently, as in the polls are stupid. I hate that when you lose is important. Georgia got blown out by South Carolina. Oregon lost by a field goal in overtime. If Georgia beats Alabama, I'll have a different opinion.

Ah I was thinking if they were a 1 loss team after all the dust settles.

Also, playing well at the end of the season is a fact of life for collegiate postseason selection in any of the big 3 sports.

Agreed. The timing of the loss should not matter. A team should be evaluated on its body of work over the whole season

1. Alabama/UGA
2. Florida
3. Oregon
4. Oregon
5 FSU
6. ND
7. KSU
8. Clemson

UF would have gone 4-1 against top 15 teams. We wouldve beaten FSU and Texas A&M away, LSU and USCe. Nobody comes close to that.

1-7 any order

8. Florida

I still can't believe we lost to that team. Neither can ULL. But FSU puts the stars back in alignment this weekend.

WE've seen just last year that resumes dont mean a whole lot. Bama's resume was nothing compared to Okie st.s. Bama got in because most voters thought that Bama was clearly a better team than Okie St.

Oregon is clearly a better team than Florida.

There is a contingent that consistently hypes up Oregon. Who was the last team they beat with a quality defense?
