| Any idea what store would have this? (Posted on 11/20/12 at 12:03 pm)
I want to keep Lucy advised on what's in the fridge since we're on different schedules and she doesn't like to look in every container. I was thinking of a dry erase magnetic pad to put on the fridge. I'm sure they exist but don't know what store would have them. TIA.

like one to stick on the outside of the fridge? We have a 8x10 one that I think came from Office Depot. Also use stickers that can be peeled off and put that on each Tupperware thing.

any school supply store like a walmart and office depot. im guessing walgreens and cvs would probably have a small one that could go on a fridge

No, that's not working. She doesn't want to read all those labels on 3 different shelves. That's why I think the dry erase magnet on the outside of the fridge would work best.

No pics. Lucy is tall and thin. Think Beach Volleyball Player.

What about the grocery list pads with the magnet on the back. Just tear off the page when you change the contents. or LINK or buy a light weight dry erase board in the size you want and glue enough magnets on the back to hold it up. or Places like The Container Store might have them.

I might go in that direction. My main assessment will be weight/magnetism to avoid constantly falling off when the door closes. That's why I want to look at something in a store instead of buying blind online.

Wal-Mart would have you covered, or Office Depot, or Target... shouldn't be too hard to find.

The flat one in the link I gave you could even be cut to suit you. It's basically a magnet on the back like those flat ones you get on your phone book.

I guess there is a lot to that story. The organization of the leftovers should give me some idea.

Zach's leftovers probably rival any house in the city. Zach, off topic but i got a question on the pepper plant over wintering. I dug some out of the ground recently and put them in pots. How much of the roots do you need for the plant to survive? I got the main bulb out and a good bit of the roots that travel through the mud on most. Are the plants going to wilt right away when I put them in the garage? I dont know what the ones at my parents already look like but the 4 i have waiting to be brought there are pretty much wilted. Sucks if these dont make it because they are easily the biggest plants

Well, since they are already committed it's kind of academic. They'll either make it or they won't. Digging plants out of the ground and going to pot = stress. That's probably why you see wilting. Mine were never in the ground. I took the pots into the garage two weeks ago and not only did the leaves not wilt but they produced 30 more peppers that I picked today in a dark, cold garage. All you can do at this point is let em go dormant, don't worry about the wilting. Don't treat them with any extra water or plant food and keep them away from sunlight as much as possible. In Jan and Feb they might look dead. But water them on the first of the month and then ignore them. They will either come back in the Spring or the won't.
