The problem is their ACC champ matchup is brutal
They need to let Clemson and Fla St play again to have a decent title game
That's why the SEC champ game trumps all others - the west and the east champ will always give you two highly ranked teams or at least a matchup like a bcs bowl

Even under the old system, FSU wouldn't be sitting pretty. They are 6th, 6th, and 10th in the polls. FSU would need all the other front-runners to lose 2 games.
Besides, Jimbo had one, ONE JOB. GO undefeated in one of the weakest conferences this year. You take care of business at NC State, and this doesn't matter.

I like the BCS. I just want it to expand to a 4 team playoff for the championship.
Yes there is always going to be someone feeling they are left out.. but you got a pretty fair/legit deal with the top 4 bcs teams.

The rankings need to be more objective not less. An "eyeball" test is just silly and will produce even more biased results. The "eyeball" test is basically one guy's gut feeling/opinion (in other words, a guess) on which team would beat another. I'd rather they go to an all computer ranking.

if they used the eye test this year his team would still be out in the cold. The ACC is a terrible conference. Those first two FSU games against Murray St. and Savanna St. were a joke.
