I saw it today and it was a really good movie. I liked how they used some of the video games I used to know as a kid, what are some other opinions.

Is it a good movie to take the gf out to see? We'll most likely go see something this weekend.

Saw it with the wife. Very enjoyable, and I'm sure there are tons of game references I missed

I guess that's what we'll go see. She doesn't play games so she'll probably hate it. But I do so she'll have to deal with it. I'm paying

Its been getting excellent reviews so far, most calling it by a long shot the best video game movie ever made. Definitely look forward to seeing this. I'm pretty much not going to leave the theater when I get back in mid-December.

Still in Beijing? Seems like I remember you bringing that up in a topic before.

I wish I had a kid or a nephew who lived near me so I could go see it and not look like a creepy person.

Yep, but I should be home for Christmas. Not sure how much longer I'll be here, but probably a while.

I saw it this morning as well and I really enjoyed it.

As an avid gamer, I was amazed at how many game references were in this movie.

An instant classic. One of the better movies Disney has made in years.

Yeah, this film seems to be marketing almost solely at the parents who grew up with these games rather than the kids themselves. Kids aren't going to get most the videogame references, like Donkey Kong and whatnot, but it will definitely get the parents there when their kids want to drag them to see it without any problem.

Is there anymore arcades like in the movie. I can remember as a kid going to the arcades in the malls and blowing a shite ton of quarters.

Roadblaster, contra, TMNT, bad dudes, double dragon, house of the dead, racing games, shooters, pac-man, pinball machines, and whatever other games were available.
