Close your pantry and get rid of what attracts them--food. i.e. clean your shite up!
I'm not throwing away perfectly good SEALED bags of chips/rice/sugar/pasta that they keep getting into.

Have had good luck with this so far.

Us the mice traps you have pictured and bait only with a little peanut butter. They'll climb on it enough to set it off.

Not to my knowledge, but havent tried around a dog.I keep one in my camp and they work. Neighbors camp didnt have one and he had lots of mice.Might want to research the dog thing though.

Get the bins and remove the food source. Also remove your bottles of oil, they will chew into those also.

I hear peppermint oil works better than anything.
This is probably your best bet.

When the wife and I were just starting out we had a little rent house that had been vacant for quite some time. This place was crawling with the little hairy vermin. We had to keep everything in the fridge so they wouldn't eat it. We only lived there for 3 months before we told the landlord were gone. I killed probably 20 mice in that short time span.

Yes, they chew thru anything, elec. Wires, plastic, etc. You've been given good answers. Peanut butter on traps and glue pads are the cheapest and most consistent answers.

They can chew through concrete blocks.
Plastic bottles are nothing to them.

Figure out how they are getting onto the shelves and eliminate that. Dont stack boxes on the floor or anything they can climb to get up to the shelves.
Snap Boards have always worked best for me, Glue pads work very well too.
Find where they are getting in from and try to close up the hole.

Me and Tclay cleaned them out with snap traps, glue traps, a 22 pistol and a few cases of budweiser one year at our old camp.
I shot one rat on the run from behind and it looked like it parted his hair down the middle. I'm glad I had a whitness.

I can't shoot them inside the house inside the city limits.

Other option is latting a rat snake roam your house, but that often makes guests and or females a little uncomfortable.
I have put two rat snakes under my house, unbeknownst to my wife. They are much cleaner than mice, and snakes don't eat my food.
