Alabama fan coming to BR

I'm driving down to Baton Rouge on Thursday, even though I don't have a ticket. I've never been to BR, and only know of some of the bars around the area. I promise I come in peace, I just would love some suggestions from y'all on what I should check out while I'm in town. I'll probably end up drinking with some of you too.

Stay in NOLA and drive in for the game. The BR bar scene sucks.

LSU bar scene sucks compared to rest of SEC but tailgating is best in the country. You'll probably want to check out Bogie's.

The bar scene is fun, if you're an LSU fan. Not a lot of options, but A LOT of LSU fans. New Orleans is your best bet.

Many LSU fans will be drinking and/or drunk. Keep your sack in your pants and don't teabag anyone and you should be fine.
