While he has been at Bama. It's a good starting point for our team. I feel the players are behind Les, because there is a formula for victory already in place.

Where do we go from there? Practice! These boys have to really work hard this week. From what I understand, a lot of game-planning, weight-lifting, and fundamentals were practiced the past week. This week, the actual practice to play Alabama begins.

Finally, we need to believe in our team. I'm done with feelings of impending doom. There is no way Bama walks out of death valley with a victory.

Also, I wouldn't mind if Miss, state beats them todayp

Only one coach is held to the standard of beating Nick Saban more than once in a single season as well.

This is a point that always goes over the head of every rantard here. That is a tough standard to live by.

Les Miles is the only coach that has the balls to go toe to toe with Saban. All the other coaches seems intimidated when facing him.

It wasn't long ago that Nick Saban wasn't shite to the standard Rantard. Now, to those same people, it's an incredible feat to beat Saban every once in a while.

Les has beat him in 3 of 5 regular Swanson meetings and won two in a row. Don't consider that "every once in a while"

It's amusing how yall like to point out this fact while conveniently leaving out the post season meeting that was for all the marbles. How did that one work out for Les?

FWIW not taking anything away from Miles. I think he's a hell of a coach. Quirky for sure, but to each his own and his resume is beyond reproach. But some of you Rantards want to harp on "he's beat Saban 3 of the last 5" like that somehow tarnishes what Saban has built in Tuscaloosa. Most Bama fans recognize LSU as their equal or near equal while most LSU fans want to disavow Bama's storied tradition and act as if college football was only discovered in the year 2000.

Oh brother. You love your storied tradition so much that you're posting on LSU message board. Who has envy here?

Everyone here is aware of that

I would say that 3 out of 5 in the regular season is nothing to scoff at though

And all of the games were close

Saban won't have 6 weeks to game plan this time and he won't have the revenge motivator on his side either

LSU will be out for blood in this game. It will be close. Make no mistake.

Because people think in terms of "what have you done for me lately". This is the same reason why Miles gets a lot of hate. LSU won two national championships in a five year span. It's been another five years, and we don't have another championship. Honestly nobody gives a damn who was the national champion in the 1900's, so you can take your "tradition" and shove if up your...

FWIW I don't think hating on Miles for not having won another championship is very justified.

LSU still gets to play Alabama every year. I can already see people with your train of thought back tracking to the past if Alabama loses next week. But on the other hand, that's no surprise when talking to a Bammer.

Try fans of most teams in general.

You know why? Because nobody else gives a frick about shite that happened in 1925.

Nobody gives a shite about Alabama's made up history except for Alabama fans. Why don't you guys understand this? It's not just lsu. Noone cares what you did 60 yrs ago.

And the reason we don't reference 01/09 is because that was not a regular season game. We get it, with 44 days to prepare after losing at home to us during the regular season, you played a great game on 01/09. We get it bud.

Did LSU not get 44 days to prepare as well?
