Ten Point makes a good one, I have one myself and switch out between that and my Hoyt through out the season.

Matthews just came out with one but it is a little more expensive. Parker, Excaliber, and Barnett are all good ones for around your price range.

There are two reasons that make people want to hunt with a crossbow.

1. They have a physical handicap which makes them unable to shoot a real bow.

2. They have a mental handicap and don't know any better.
