My dad is from Lebanon and we watched the season premiere together. When they showed the Beirut scenes, he said that's not even close to looking like Lebanon. I laughed and said who cares, it's a show, but apparently the Lebanese tourism industry isn't too pleased.

How does a country sue a TV show in America?

Which court do you file it in?

You know, freedom of speech and shite.

it's a legit thing.

The tourism industry has been historically important to the local economy and remains a major source of revenue to this day... In 2009, the New York Times ranked Beirut the No. 1 travel destination worldwide due to its Unique Nightlife and Hospitality.

Sadly, Beirut was the "Paris of the Middle East" before all those people started blowing their own shite up. The author of "The Black Swan" (business book not lesbo/ballet movie) is Lebanese and he describe's Beirut's decent into clusterfrickeduppedness as his first Black Swan event.

Did I miss something? Has "Homeland" ever represented that it is a true story?
