I'm coming in town for the Bama game with a few friends that have never been to the city. I haven't lived there for over a decade so I'm not sure about what's the best places to eat anymore. I'd like to give them the best Nola experience possible.
Advice? Recommendations?

We're staying at the Marriot on Canal. We'll have a car so location doesn't matter. Clothes will be casual, no coat & tie. Price is not an issue and neither is type of food. I would like to go somewhere with good seafood if possible though. These guys live in Arizona and have neveer been to Nola. Just want them to leave with a fantastic experience since I've been hyping the food.

Mr. B's in the Quarter is a short walk for you and would be good for lunch or dinner. Gumbo ya ya and BBQ shrimp would be good for them to try. Good fried oyster app also. Can wear jeans or slacks.
Make reservations.
Lunch at Casamento's on Magazine would be a great idea since you have a car. Parking is troublesome, but workable. You might have to walk a bit. Raw, chargrilled and fried oysters, fried softshell crab, shrimp, fish, old famous New Orleans restaurant.
There's a streetcar on Canal St. now. You can catch right by your hotel if that interests y'all. Take it to Mandina's or Katie's for casual eats. Both have websites so you can take a look. Not 5 star food, but good representations of Nola seafood and if you're drinking, the streetcar is the way to go.
Make reservations.

Friday dinner at August. Fine dining, white table clothe, possibly the best in the city. A coat is not required, but recommended. Alternative: Herbsaint.
Saturday Lunch at Casamento's on Magazine since you want seafood.
Saturday Dinner at Cochon.
Sunday Brunch at Patois or Atchafalaya.
That would be a really nice weekend.
Alternative places:
PoBoy: Parkway Bakery and Tavern in Midcity.
Neighborhood place: Katie's.
High End but not super formal:
Coquette, Atchafalaya, Clancy's.
Coquette and Atchafalaya are my two favorite restaurants in the city. I would take an out of towner to Atchafalaya.
EDIT: I would get reservations at all of these places except for Casamento's, Katie's and Parkway as far in advance as possible.

If seafood is the priority, try GW Fins. Might be best seafood restaurant in the city:

I haven't noticed people mentioning Brigtsen's on this board. It has long been on my list of places to try. Have I waited too long? Is it past its prime?

Take them to Parkway for lunch one day. Shrimp, catfish, or roast beef will all win them over.

Thanks for the suggestions. Now that I'm thinking about it, I think dinner in the Quarter is the way to go for Friday night. Is Mr. B's the best restaurant in the FQ? If not, what else?

Not the best, but a great spot for taking out of town people to experience a good meal. Their gumbo and BBQ shrimp might be the best in the city.
Stella and August are the best in the area, but I'm sure that will not be what your friends are looking for.
Irene's, Pelican Club, or NOLA are other good choices in the quarter.

It's best suited for your purposes. Great place to take out of towners for a very good meal without having to don suits or jackets.
If you don't go to the Quarter for breakfast, Besh's Restaurant Luke is well within walking distance from your hotel for breakfast/brunch. Shrimp and grits with poached eggs are very good there.
