Washington is a more attractive opponent to me than TCU. The score will be closer next year because TCU is playing in thier hometown. Not a neutral site location to me.

UW is from a BCS conference (always have been, not just added this year) and they have at least won a national championship in the last 22 years. TCU is a mid-major at best. Nothing attractive to me about playing them and it is a step down and a cop out.

And yes, I am one who complains about the cupcakes and our 2013 schedule is shameful. We have 3 cupcakes next year-Kent State, UAB and Furman. People discussed the fact that we have 2 open dates in 2013-----well we actually have 3 (Furman) but will probably play them close like Towson this year. LSU has no business playig a 1-AA school and I will always complain about this.

If we move to 9 conference games in 2014, that leaves 3 for non-conference and they already have ULM and Georgia Southern. They BETTER schedule somebody good and cool for that last game. Like a home and home with Nebraska or Florida State.

I'm excited about the Furman game because one of my good friends played football there. We will get wild for that one.

You do realize TCU plays in the Big 12 and is ranked, right?

TCU > Washington

I would care, but a)our conference schedule is more than enough - we still probly end up playing at least 5, maybe 6 ranked teams including tcu, with at least 2, maybe 3 in the top ten. and b) more importantly, have you seen bama's schedule?? we look look suicidal next to that elaborate prank disguised as a schedule. Va tech is the second or third most perennially overrated team behind ND and maybe FSU, the bama's second toughest game will be the fricking aggies...how in the holy god did that happen. A&M joins the SEC west, a division with 3 of the top 5 in college football and solid top to bottom, yet somehow, a year later, they end up as bama's second toughest game of the season.

frick you petrino. frick you jizzik. frick you auburn fans, you delusional asswipes aren't going to get a better coach than tubbs for at least 15 years. the sec west has turned into:

-alabama
-lsu

-a bad joke

If every game of the year was a fight, injuries would take its toll by the time we got to the meat of the schedule... that is probably why they do the cupcakes.. the TCU game... wasn't that planned way in advance when they had a decent team?

People always complaining about the easy schedule and wanting to play the toughest schedule every year. How do you feel about having to play Florida ever single year now! How did that work out for ya this season!

Why?.....Please tell me you will stop going to games and posting here if we schedule Arkansas St.....That would be a win for everyone.

Yea because we can just schedule big teams when we want. The TCU matchup had been in the making for a while they decided to slate it for one of those big season kick off games and that was the last step needed. There is no way we could schedule a fsu or nebraska in a years notice. Wake up man where have you been. These teams make a lot of money to come play us and its a good break for our guys. The sec ia tough enough we dont need any more big match ups than we have. With injuries and a finite number of scholarships these matchups are a win win. The big games will happen but its good for us to not have them every year.

Another suck @$$ OOC schedule. Can we please go to a 9-game conference schedule so we don't have to embarrass ourselves with our scheduling practices?? Seriously, Kent State, Furman, and UAB? There is no excuse for scheduling 1-AA teams (I refuse to use FBS and FCS). I guess 2011 was a flash in the pan as far as scheduling goes.

I just dont think its that easy. I git an idea, go apply for augberrys job. Our fans are never happy. So we played app state in 08. According to you we have no business playing them. Even though they beat michigan and people actually picked them to beat us.
