Florida had less than 50 yards of offense in the first half, but held onto the ball much longer than LSU. The defense lost two linebackers and then Florida ran it down their throats.

Not saying he didn't earn some tough yards, but just shouting score board doesn't always tell the story.

I bet Lattimore gains more than 33 yards against the jorts. blee fricking dat.

Florida's greatest ally was LSU's offense. We may have "fixed it".

I think you guys know whats its like to come to Gainesville "ready for war" and leave making excuses, beaten, and humbled.

USC will feel the same punishment LSU felt....

Fortunately for him, they didn't play Alabama in 2011.

We lost......hopefully UF can make it to Atlanta and we'll make things right again in the SEC. I make no excuses, u won, but humbled is pretty big words for 14-6.

UF was "humbled" in Tiger Stadium last year.....js

I wouldn't mind hearing similar comments from McCarron, Lacy, Yeldon & Company on November 4.

Fact: Florida had no answer on offense until the two starting line backers went out of the game.
I'm not saying that Florida did not deserve to win that game. Your defense played very well, but two good series on offense is not a beat down.

As a previous poster stated, the scoreboard doesn't always tell the story.

We handed LSU half of their points. They took over on the goal line and went backwards against our D.

14-6 didn't do the game justice. We ran the ball TWO DOZEN consecutive plays....right in the heart of that vaunted LSU defense, and LSU folded up and gave in. Maybe we can make it to Atlanta, assuring us of a trip to the Sugar Bowl.

Biased much?

Do you know how to read? We were down 2 LBs. Yes you beat us but you had a lot of help from injuries and our offense.

Really, I seem to remeber him averaging about 3.5 yards per carry. When you run 24 straight running plays you are gonna have some yards.

And yes, Lattimore is better

He's a great player who will make a good living running the football.

I'm optimistic that we handled (scoring issue notwithstanding) a very, very good team and particularly neutralized their 2 best players. Lattimore and Clowney are as good as any players in the SEC-E and perhaps in the entire conference.

Although I cannot wish them the best, because of their head coach, it is not a reflection on my opinion of their players, particularly Lattimore.

Reasons Florida won:

1. Better Qb play
2. Bye week
3. Home Field
4. Team plays like a replica of Lsu. Good ground, lots of penalties. Offensively questionable as a whole. Strong defense.
5. Injuries (bye week related)

I've said many times now that the Florida game will be the toughest of the year. Offensive line was in shambles, and we are still playing like a young team. As the weeks go by, everything will fall into place, as evidenced by last game. Does anyone in their right mind think Florida would have beat us at home? Does anyone think we will play as good against aTm as we did vs. USC? I don't, but luckily for the Tigers, aTm is a giant step down.

If it were a choice, I'd play Florida again instead of SC in the title game.
SC could get dangerous in a whisk. Florida is predictable. That said, Florida played tough and deserved to win that night.
