Florida did a good job with time of possession against LSU. With a halfway decent offensive plan, LSU wouldv'e have crushed florida.
WORD.
I just wonder about the deal w/ play calling & what goes on sometimes with Miles and Stud.
Les always gets *the* most outta our defensive players,
but the Off skill players....?
This week, if Mett & skill players don't look inspired, i'll be shaking my head again.
Les just amazing w/ the O-line's toughness & production over the years-- but alotta receivers & QB's look jittery & lost sometimes.

Chavis' defenses are good, but I prefer Saban's style of defense that attacks and doesn't give up much yardage! On third down you always knew Saban was gonna send in the dogs to get the QB when trying to pass. I miss that style of D, I have to watch got damn Alabama run it now. Chavis style is much like Pelini's, a sought of bend but don't break style of defense that has the players in a lot of read and react situations where D lineman drop into pass coverage sometimes. That style is okay, but it gives up a lot of yards sometimes, like the 2 long Florida touchdown drives and 1 against South Carolina. But they are still playin good ball on D with that style and that is all that matters!

Sounds like you have a serious man crush on Saban

Guess I should have said bro-mance.
Your analysis of the late TD's drives are a little skewed. Florida took advantage of Minter being out, nothing Chavis can do to scheme against that. The long drive in the South Carolina game was meant to give away the short throws so that they could run the clock down, if it would have been a 1 possession game, Chavis wouldn't have played soft coverage.

Oh, so you know what Chavis was thinkin? Gotcha.

The sleeping giant finally woke up. Props to Lattimore for admitting that.

bump.
saw Sam Montgomery is going to wear his # on his arm the rest of year and thought I'd bump this thread from post-USCe game this year. Lattimore - classy guy and one who is not afraid to genuinely compliment an opponent.
