What Do You Do With The Heel Slices On a Loaf of Bread?

I usually throw both of them away.

Typically throw them away... I rarely finish all the middle pieces in a loaf either before they go bad.

If I was thinking about it at the time then let them get stale as possible and turn them into bread crumbs with a food processor. The other purposes have already been mentioned.

Same. I stopped even buying bread because it was always going to waste.

I thrown butter on there and toast it in a skillet. Maybe a touch of garlic salt. It can never be eaten plain.
