Could our problem be that we have too many playmakers on offense?

The coaches can't focus on a handful of players at a time but instead are spreading their practice time out to too many other players. Perhaps if Miles just allows Mettenberger to throw to Shepard 200 times during practice this pass offense would esplode

We have none right now actually. We have some good RB's but no dynamic "playmakers" in the true sense of the word imho fwiw tbh.

Admins, we sure could save some board space by stickying an Offense Sucks Thread or a Whats wrong with the offense thread. There has to be over 100 of them.

High school recruiting stars don't make you a playmaker. We have several good running backs. None are great. Yet. We have several good recievers. None are great. We essentially don't have any true playmakers. There is nobody you can count on to go to for that 3rd down conversion when you need it (proof of that Sat). We don't have a breakout threat to bust a tackle and go 50 yards for a score. Your definition of playmaker is based on hype and playstation results.

Let me know when you find a playmaker on O that's not listed as a RB on the depth chart

And our RBs are playmakers, but its hard to make plays when the other team has 9+ in the box.

There sure has been some good entertainment here lately.

And, no. And, this "theory" has been thrown out before, and never has it been more ridiculous than now.
