What kind of crazy shite would your coaches do to you or your teammates as forms of punishment?

I had a strength coach that would make players "roll the field". Endzone to endzone doing forward rolls and then back laying on your side. I know that's not that crazy but I figured someone would have some crazy shite to share.

Our S&C makes us either hold push up position for 10 mins, "pick cherries" for 10 mins, or do cigarette rolls, bear crawls, army ranger crawls as punishment.

Suicides touching every single line on the court...not just the normal suicide line but like all of the volleyball lines, each line where you stand when waiting to rebound free throws, etc. There were probably 50+ lines on the damn court.

I wrestled so if we messed up bad enough we usually had to wrestle one or some of the coaches for 10-15 minutes. The beatings would vary depending on what we did.

our 8th grade football team, that had probably 20 people on the roster (and went undefeated, frick yeah!) had to run a 100 yard sprint for every penalty yard that we amassed throughout the game.

My high school baseball coach would make us run "Halos". This consisted of running from home plate to the left foul pole, across the outfield to the right foul pole, then back to home plate.. while holding a tire over your head.

Push a towel with weight on it back and forth across the basketball court. (Harder than it sounds)

My high school coach called those "Jim Jones" suicides. Thankfully we didn't have to do them too often.

Did Circuits at bootcamp

Three stations about 10-15 yards Apart. One
Was pushups, one was situps, one was Up Downs. You had to bear crawl to each station for as long as they felt like it. We had to do it in pads my senior year (Which hadnt been washed for 4 days ).

Worst thing ive ever had to do. We dreaded that shite for an entire year

My High School baseball team, and I, had to run 120 yard sprints for every run the other team scored (12) after a game once. It was around 20 degrees that night, and we got done around 11:30 PM. Then, we had an hour drive home on a cold bus with no heater. Not many players were happy. Also have to throw in there we had school the next day.

Buffaloes in HS FB practice.

Line up by position. DB/WR, QB/LB, RB/TE, OL/DL

Sprint 10, jog 90
As soon as the last line crossed you went the other way.
Sprint 20, jog 80.

Until you were sprinting the full 100 yards.

Up to about 60/40 it was alright. Those last 4 were killers.

We lost a game we shouldn't and had practice at 7 AM the next morning. We scrimmaged until the four or five malcontents he wanted to run off quit on their own--it was about noon. Practice over at that point.

We had "reminders". 100 yards of belly flops, 100 yd bear crawl back, I think we repeated that, and then roll until the coach blew the whistle, which was supposed to be 100 yards, but no one could roll straight.

One football coach
1) Muscle Beach-if you fricked up he would bring out a 45 pound bar & whatever other weight he deemed necessary & you would sit outside in 95+ degree heat doing curls, military presses, & push ups throughout practice.
2) memories-200 yard sprint. About every 3-5 yards he would blow his whistle & you would have to drop down, do a belly flop, & continue sprinting
3) gasers-run sideline to sideline in under 17 seconds. We would do 20-30 on a regular basis as a team.
4) The Green Jersey-if you really pissed him off he would send you out on kickoff return in a green jersey, without any blockers, & have his kickoff team destroy you.

Yes this guy was a dick

Also had a basketball & baseball coach have us do the suicides & halos already mentioned.
