Absolutely, IMHO.

ETA: Not first ballot obviously, but he'll get in eventually.

In the discussion with a handful of other receivers during this era, but it just seems almost impossible for WRs to get in these days. The only surefire guys are Moss and TO.

He should be voters are punishing WRs bc they don't know how to put their #s in context.

Before this season, I'd say he just misses. But he's having one of his best seasons without Peyton Manning. If he ends up putting up 1300+ yards and 8 or 9 TDs this season, I'd say he could sneak in. If he has similar season NEXT year, I'd say he's definitely in.

For whatever reason the voters hate WRs. Wayne is behind TO Harrison Moss Holt Fitz and maybe Smith from the same era so I highly doubt he gets in but he should IMO

Anyone know when Issac Bruce is eligible? If he's not first or second ballot then the outlook for everybody not named TO Harrison and Moss is bleak.

Wayne needs another 3 years of productivity to get in IMO.

He is pretty far down the list in most receiving categories.

He is fairly young tho (33)

33 is not young for a WR.

No I don't think he deserves that honor, is Colston a HOF'er in your opinion? I think he is a comparable guy of this era. I don't think Colston is a HOF'er either.

I don't think Bruce or Moss gets in anytime soon. If they're not going to let Brown Carter, and held Monk out that long then they'll have to wait. Holt gets in before Bruce IMO.

lolwut? I hope you mean Santana Moss, cause Randy Moss is getting in on the first ballot as soon as he's eligible.

He's pretty much a lock to finish top 10 in yards and receptions and top 20 in tds

Then you are crazy if you think Moss is first ballot. You think he will get required votes after the Raider, Minnesota pt 2, and Titan portion of career? He has talent but he won't get in first chance.

You can make argument TO was/is better WR of the era.

Colston doesn't even belong in this discussion.

So he had 3 bad years, so what he's still the 3rd or 4th best WR of all time

I'm not saying he won't get in eventually, but won't be first time eligible.
