Why? The Sub hit the bottom of the sea, dug a huge trench, yet somehow was able to just "turn on it's engines and get out of there"

Was hit by a missle, went down, then hit the bottom of the sea bed, and caused massive exterior damage, flooding in the haul, etc. Yet somehow they just closed a door and the engines were operational and the sub just "cruised" on back into motion? Oh yes, and obviously quick enough that the U.S Navy was unable to find them to put a 2nd missile into their side?

Then they were able to travel underwater 3k miles in 10 minutes somehow, all while getting a commands from a person that doesn't exist and transmissions from a "command center" that doesn't exist as well?!?!?!

Oh yeah, people should defiantly watch THIS show, which tries to actually play itself off as realistic, and fails on all levels, and is somehow "ignored" when they get everything wrong.

But these exact same people who pick apart a Sci-fi show for "not being realistic enough" should run over to the other show.. yup.. makes sense.

P.S: I'm pretty much trolling here, I love Last Resort more than Revolution, but seriously.. it's because Last Resort is just a better show, the arguments most people make about revolution are incredibly retarded, it's a sci-fi show, you know, the type of fiction that you have to just accept the Setting they put you in!?! Just like ALL SCI-FI Shows!?!?!

Yeah, they did a way better job at creating interesting characters / subplots in the pilot than Revolution did.

I'm able to watch both. It's pretty easy to do since they air on different nights.

Mine is trying to stick up for a show, that I don't even find to be all that interesting compared to the other shows I watch.

dude...that's all I was saying, did you see me bash sci fi in any capacity?...refrickinglax

My comment was meant more to the fact that Revolution got 20+ million viewers while a superior show struggled on its first night...all because of the bullshite obsession this country has with the crap that is the hunger games.

I know you were, I was being satirical.. I mean, seriously, look how bad these people were on that first thread.. I mean, you don't expect them to go full retard on Last Resort..!?!

ETA: I would rather most of them.. just stay away from Last Resort.

The crazy thing about ABC, is that sometimes viewership goes UP instead of down on their good shows. If the show is proven to be good, ABC has been known to increase and keep long shows on longer..

When it comes to networks keeping shows on the air that deserve it - ABC is the Network to go with, so I have a lot of faith in Last Resort, let's just hope I'm right.

If they got rid of Charlie the show would be better.

I can deal with the "unrealistic" aspects. The main thing that bugs me is the dialogue and lack of emotion. That last scene where computer guy heard Marvin Gaye and British lady saw her kids could have been much more powerful. Her reaction to seeing them (after what we're led to believe is a number of years) was less than jubilant. She was like 'oh wow, there they are'...

She's going to die next week, just my opinion.

And I thoughts episode 3 was better, but there's still a lot of work left to do.

So, does this show still look like an Abercrombie commercial?

The Cheese Factor is bad, but at least it's not Terra Nova bad.

Most likely. One of the group doesn't survive the episode, and the Uncle is the most important character, Charlie the girl is the main character, and the fat guy is the computer guy obviously needed.

I don't know about the bomb girl, she was just introduced and kind of fleshed out already, plus they supposedly need her skills. The British lady is a doctor, so they could use her skills as well, but I've also get her pegged as the one not making it.
