That reminds me a little bit of Dicky Lyons Jr. block on Craig Steltz when we beat LSU in 2007.

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll was asked about the block Monday.

"I don't think he could have done it any cleaner," Carroll said. "It was very physical, but he didn't hit the guy in the head and he didn't hit him with his helmet, and he tried to not."

This is what is wrong with sports these days....The whole freaking sport is dangerous as frick! Like I was told when I played, if you don't look out where you are going, someone is going to knock the shite out of you!

Defenseless player plays like that are more dangerous, it's a liability thing now for the NFL because of all the ex-players suing them for not protecting them enough when they played.

So blame old players if you don't like the way the sport is governed now imo.

I hate that this is what the league is coming to. Players know what type of danger they are signing up for. If it's helmet to helmet, then throw a flag. There's no reason to fine him. I love how a LB chasing a QB is considered defenseless. Makes no fricking sense.

I think the Warren Sapp hit on Chad Clifton was dirty and warranted a flag and fine because Clifton was not even close to being involved in the play and was just jogging down the middle of the field.

This hit is different because Lee is actively pursuing the QB and has a legit chance of making the tackle.

And a tiny WR knocked his fricking block off. I bet that's the last time Sean Lee forgets to keep his head on a swivel.

Looks to me like his shoulder hit him before his head. It looksso bad because the Dallas guy was decleated, but the receiver didn't throw himself at him.

It's a lesson to be aware of wtf is going on around you.

I agree it's not a dirty play whatsoever, it's just the NFL is covering its arse from lawsuits down the road.
