Out of the 400 acre lease it's the highest one, Most others are basically on the ground.

Looks good. I need to build one like that. Got a hill to put it on so that height would be just right.

Put a good high back office chair. Hunt the AM. Take a nap and wake up for the PM hunt. Never get out.

Nice....Here are a couple I built. They are also 6'x4'
This is at my house in Monroe where I built it.

This is it after we stood it up in Oak Grove.

My old bossman liked the ones I had built so he bought the lumber and had me build him one while I was at work.

Are the windows sliding or hinged?

They are hinged. They have a small piece of 1/2"x1/2" in each frame that turns on a screw and hold the windows open. Very quit. I have opened them with deer right at the base of the stand.

They will hold two high back office chairs side by side. I built the second one for my stepfather because he had quit hunting cause he couldnt climb the ladders on our other stands so I made this one with steps an rail for him to hold on to while he walked up the steps. Now mom will go with him and just sit and read a book. They have heaters and carpeted flooring. Nice an comfy.

No not really much at all. I used spray foam to fill the small holes and I guess that muffles it. I have sit in them while it was sleeting and wasnt loud then either.

Good idea to keep tin roofs quiet, is put an old rug, blanket, or foam rubber on top the perlins before nailing the tin down. Or use some spray foam after. Whatevers cheapest. Also helps keep the temp comfortable.

Yeah thats what I did. You can see it oozing out on one of the pics. Keeps wasp and bugs out too.
