I will never even ride anywhere close to that stand from now on while they are hunting.

I haves hinged Windows, plexiglass was the most expensive thing on the stand. I also have a carpet mat and two office chairs to put in. I put a plywood ceiling to dampen the noise from the tin roof. If its still loud I'll put some insulation later on.

It looks good. But did you think about putting a window on the sides of the deer stand?

That window is on the side.

I assume you mean the lack of a rear window. I don't have a shot behind me so I didn't put a window there, it's also why I put the door back there.

Yeah, my bad. Looking at the last picture I thought that was the side of the stand and not the rear.

You guys like some big ole steps dont you.
A budy on the lease built ours out of 2x4. I was going to use 2x6 with 2x4 stringer supports but I guess we will wait for someone to fall throught this one first.
Those stands all look nice.
Here is mine in the final stages of completion. I got the wife and kids working. I cut the windows at 41.5 inches and they are 10" tall. hinged plexiglass is to gon this evening and carpeted floor, ceiling and inside walls also, to reduce noise.
