How are the chairbacks numbered?

I know this is a rather mundane question, but how are the seatbacks (sec 301, specifically) numbered, i.e. facing the section right to left, etc? I've been going to games for seven years as a student, but this is my first time in the big-boy seats

They start with 1 and increase in increments of 1 until the seats in that row run out

I thought I made it clear, but I'm trying to figure out if I'm further to the 25 yard line side of the section or the 10 yard line side

if you slide across the row facing the seats it usually is the same if you slide across the aisle facing the stadium. they may have changed it though.
