Goodman and Willis.

Goodman and Willis should be top priorities for this staff. Secondary is going to need some help in the next couple of years. I also think that if Williams commits, we may lose Herron.

I haven't seen anything indicating herron would decommit. If Gilmore and Herron came to LSU, both would become starters at some point in their career.

Im not too sure about this...The info I posted earlier about Herron and Ole Miss does not have me scared of them stealing him from us. I think he is just playing the game. At the end of the day, he should be in P & G.

Isn't Herron a SDE and Williams a WDE?

Don't see Goodman happening for multiple reasons but agree with the other 3. Deondre Skinner will be another and I think there will be a suprise thrown in.

Meh. I'll believe it when I see it with Willis. Until he actually makes it to our campus, I'm thinking he stays out West.

maybe, but with cutrer with academic issues, hope Willis jumps on board, just in case Cutrer can't sure up those grades.

I'm very confident Willis will be a Tiger. No lock, of course, but very confident. More confident with him than Gilmore. I've got a weird feeling with Gilmore.

well from my reading here i thought Gilmore was 90% just had to get his mom to BR to give her blessing. Willis i had about given up on felt he was like less than 50/50. Guess time will tell. Our needs seem to change as defections and injuries and grades all come in to play. that is why i like RB nothing is a Lock till they sign the papers or as with mr kiel show up at class.

You've got it right based on our boards. Most of us(and the insiders) are very confident with Gilmore and so am I but not as confident as most. The general feeling is that we'll sew him up once momma gets on campus but what if we don't convince her? He wants LSU but also wants to please his mother and she likes Bryant Young and UF. It's not always as easy as just getting her on campus.

Our chances with Willis have increased significantly over the past couple of months. The biggest competition(USC) isn't a real factor any longer and the "hot" team for a while(UCLA) isn't really an option either. Most pundits feel we're in the lead and are gonna be tough to beat.

This...and it's a sweet sound. As for Herron, I don't think he's going anywhere but LSU. Enjoying the process, and being respectful to Ole Miss. I also think we get Williams in the end. Too much going for us in his recruitment.

Hmm... I feel we get Williams and Gilmore as well. I hope for Priest Willis (he would be the first recruit out of Arizona we ever signed). Goodman, I have no clue, he was a lock for USC twice and nothing happened. Herron will stay no matter what. He knows we're actively pursuing TIm Wiliams. Also we get Beckwith.

I think we get williams and beckwith. Gilmore isnt as much of a lock as i thought. People are worried because its gotten quiet on his end but i think because his season has started. Florida/LSU is 50/50 imo. I thought it was 70/30 a while back but his mom loves florida. We know how good Les is at winning moms over and closing the deal though.. Herron will stay a tiger imo, so if we get williams and Gilmore it will be a homerun for sure!!

I think we get williams, beckwith, willis, and gilmore. don't think we get goodman as he ends up at USC. I also think we get a surprise quality player but not on the talent level of the guys mentioned above.

Out of all the players mentioned in this thread, the player I want most is Beckwith.

I want Gilmore and Williams the most. Losing Beckwith wouldn't hurt as much because of the young talent at LB

I dont see Beckwith as a pure LB. I see him as a hybrid defender, that can play DE/LB. Which is why I think he is a top priority because he is so versatile. If we lose a DE/LB or if a DE/LB doesnt pan out, Beckwith can fill in at either spot which is extremely rare.
