In honor of Subway's birthday month of September, I offer the top 10 Subway Sandwiches. *cue to Earth Wind and Fire*

10. Turkey- When visiting a local Subway I was shocked to see my buddy Rakim order such a basic sandwich. To my pleasant surprise, it turned out to be delicious.

9. Veggie Delite- The top choice amongst sorostitutes trying to lose a few, the Veggie could make a significant jump in the Top 10 if Subway's vegetables became as fresh as a certain rival franchise's that begins with a 'Q.'

8. Tuna- What I believe is Subway's only oceanic option (at least nationwide) turns out to be (in the words of New Orleans Hornet Eric Gordon) pretty good. There's already plenty of mayo so don't get any extra.

7.Cold Cut Combo- Made famous by hockey thrasher turned professional golfer Happy Gilmore, this artificial classic still fills the stomachs of broke college sophomores nationwide.

6. Big Philly CheeseSteak- A favorite back in my home town of Kingston, Jamaica. Also a favorite amongst Phillies phenom Ryan Howard.

5. Italian BMT- I never get this sandwich, but all my obese friends are ostensibly obsessed with it so it must be good.

4. Subway Melt- The medley of cheese and high-sodium meats, like it's namesake, melts in your mouth. Order this with a combro of Baked Lays (no pun intended) and blue Powerade and you have met the apex of hangover cure.

3. Chicken & Bacon Ranch Melt- Bacon is one of my vices. Who can resist pork fat? Not me. I also happen to love chicken, mon, so this is a no-brainer.

2. Oven Roasted Chicken- A basic sandwich indeed, yet one that can be expanded into the upper echelon depending on the customer's curious customizations. Tip: take advantage of the new sauces available, most notably the epcot hot sauce.

1.Meatball Marinara - Is the founder of Subway from Italy? I don't know, but they make a damn good meatball, mon!!

I miss your Tulane alter, who went to community college. At least his top ten lists had some legitimate food items in them.

Being that most of the people on this site are from the south where there are things called flavor and spice, this is embarrassing. Did you do this for the new Mizzou fans?

Kind of. Subway is my go-to when I am on roadtrips following hippie jam bands around the country.

The amount of people asking about other sandwiches proves Subway's versatility.

What? No club or sweet onion chicken terriyaki? I'm surprised their cheese steak is on there. It's so terrible compared to the competition.

I think two Big Macs might be healthier than the tuna from Subway.

Did anyone remember before they pre-portioned their steak and chicken and it was all in one thing that they scooped out? I think it was a lot better this way. Still good either way though

Subway is garbage. Jim Gaffigan agrees with me.

Kangaroo? Nutria? What are you suggesting their chicken is?

Snobbing on Subway? GTFO. This place isn't trying to be gourmet.
