Yeah no kidding. Some of those houses would be wet if it rained for another day or so. At least we never lost power.

Out of curiosity, are you in the back of the subdivision? I have been wondering if the people back there were getting pissed at all the people driving around back there today.
I guess it didn't matter because the wake coming off the cars wasn't enough to get up to their houses.

does anyone know it is flooded in madisonville near the piggly wiggly on Covington street?

Yeah, that whole area. When we went through (little before noon) it had receded somewhat up to that point (the pig) but was still flooded further in to Mville and down Johnson st.

FWIW - My folks' power came back on in Quail Ridge around 6:30pm - MUCH faster than I expected.

Here's a short video of one of the deer hangin' out in the front yard Wednesday.

Hope all's well for the rest of y'all out there.

Arrowood still no power in back part of subdivision.

Cleco, what the hey? Older front part with above ground utils has power but newer back part with underground utils does not. Huh?

I heard from the owner that the pig didn't actually take on water, that it got close but not inside?

I'm back in Madison Farm as of last night, and my brother left for the beach who lives in TCC, but my brother told me last night he heard they were delaying power turned back on in Tchefuncte Country Club because of the flooding in the back. Lemme check with someone else in the front of the neighborhood and see the status.

Are you on cleco or wst? I know some houses in arrowwood have wst. I talked to my friend and he said after Gustov the back had power and the front didn't. He said cleco forgets that their are 2 cleco lines and one wst to arrowwood.

By the way, thanks again for checking on the water. I heard a few homes down pine st flooded, but the water is going down.
