Not sure if germans, but this last episode of weeds used Oak Alley Plantation as a quick backdrop to go along with the north carolina setting. I thought this was pretty badass considering My dad worked there for about 8 years, my uncle pretty much runs operations there, and we hunt on the property behind it.
Just thought i'd share in case others didn't pick up on this

watching this show on netflix right now and just finished season 5. The ending of season finale may just push me over the edge to stop watching all together.

call me crazy, but for some reason i skipped over the first two seasons and have watched every episode since. I keep hearing the first two seasons were the best, but i've loved everything i've seen from the later seasons.

I'm probably one of the few people that has watched every episode since it aired back in 2005. Andy and Doug are the only redeeming qualities with the show at this point. I still get some laughs out of it from time to time.

I love every character in their own way. The two sons are branching off and finding their own way more so now, andy has finally stopped sucking nancy's teet and is moving on. Nancy is her sarcastic edgy self, which hasn't gotten old for me. I will say that i thought it was best when they lived in Ren Mar

I've watched every episode since then.
Season 6 was the worst, Season 7 was decent, and this final season is pretty solid.

Andy is definitely the best character on the show. Doug at times can be almost too stupid to handle. I actually liked Esteban a lot too. Don't know his role beyond season 5, don't spoil it for me.
**SPOILER ALERT**
Shane killing Pilar at the end of season 5 was pretty goddamn upsetting and random. Oh no now they have to run away all over again.

This was very random and aggravating at first, but i thought it was a nice change of pace later on.

Not really, Shane is different, and dark.
Pilar was a gigantic bitch that threatened his life, and his family, so he whacked the bitch.
I thought it was perfect.
