Say you had a draft position in the 10-12 range and had an opportunity to take both TEs, would you do it? PPR league and you can play TE at flex. I am thinking I would. Is this a crazy strategy?

not crazy at all. my last year's league champion had this combo in his lineup every week.

strat wise, better to get an elite wr with the elite te, it gives you more versatility

You are putting yourself behind the 8 ball as far as other positions go.

you will be behind the 8 ball at other spots, but you would be so far ahead of every other team at the TE spot because there just aren't any other elite players at the TE position.

If you can muster up the balls to do that with your first two picks, power to you. I couldn't. I'd do one of them and another position player.

Probably because he was able to draft both relatively late last year, won't have that luxury this year

go graham in the 2nd and then Gates/Hernandez in the 4th

Pick Graham because if you go Gronk then it hinders you at other NE players like Hernandez if someone grabs Gates.

so go

RB/WR
TE
RB/WR
TE
QB
RB/WR
RB/WR
TE(yes again....EASY TRADE....in most leagues)
QB(if some jackass waited and didn't grab last startable QB)

Kash quick question for you...12th pick in a non PPR 12 team league w/ 6 points for QB's TDs. Would you go WR/TE at 12/13 (if one of the big 3 QB's don't fall) and then just get a tier 2 QB in the 4th/5th?

ah yes..in 8 man leagues where there's less scarciTE?

quote:

ScarciTE is the fundamental economic problem of having humans who have unlimited wants and needs in a world of limited Tight Ends.

Where you have team owners starting TEs projected to score the same as Kevin Walter,Earl Bennet,David Gettis, Felix Jones, Mike Tolbert, etc, etc, etc

Position players who they would NEVER dream rely on as starters due to the lack of consistent production.....yet for whatever reason, they think is good strategy and team management.

So pick up Stafford in the first if Brady/Brees/Rodgers are gone by the 12th pick? and then go RB/RB/WR or RB/RB/RB? We also have a flex spot 2 RBs/2 WRs/Flex
