Have to go with "Summerteeth" slightly over "Being There". Probably not the obvious choice. But, my favorite nonetheless

Not liked one single thing since.

I go back and forth between Summerteeth and Yankee Hotel - both are great, great records.

Wish I liked their post-YHF stuff more, but it just doesn't seem to click much with me. That being said, I always go see them play when they're in town.

There newer music is very different from their earlier stuff. But, Being There is alot like A.M.

I never listen to am, sky blue sky is my favorite, but it changes daily.

I'll say Ghost is Born. Probably most people's least favorite. But it's really impossible for me to say. I like each one in it's won way. Kind of depends on my mood. I'd say Blue sky Blue might be my least favorite though. But it's like the 5th season of The Wire. Still good, just not the best.

A Ghost is Born is probably my second favorite. Either it or Summerteeth.

I should have been more clear and fair. Not liked one thing that I've heard, and I have to admit I've not heard everything. I did like Outtasite (Outta Mind)some, but not enough to buy the album. By that time, I was into Son Volt and just kinda put Wilco Out of Mind.

Outside of AM, Being There is probably closest to Son Volt. I just downloaded Trace. I must have lost the original CD I bought in 95. Excellent album from start to finish.

I love them all in their own way but A Ghost is Born gets the most plays for me.

I just don't know how someone can say this when they included "Less Than You Think" for the album.

Do people really listen to the entire 15 minutes??!

Ya'll know the bass player John Stirrat (sp) used to play @ Murphy's all the time in the late 80s with the Hilltops and other bands. He's from covington - err maybe Mandeville.

Well, if you know him, could you tell him that they've completely passed up New Orleans after touring for almost a year on the new album??!
