With about 2 months to go, who ya got?

AL MVP - Miggy Cabrera (just because he's played a full month more than Trout)
NL MVP - McCutchen

AL CY - Weaver
NL CY - Dickey ? (could see Kershaw, Cueto, Cain, Stras, or Vogelsong take it)

AL ROY - Trout
NL ROY - Miley (not much here. Harper will be the best longterm, but his numbers are dropping. Rizzo might make a late push)

AL comeback player of the year - Morneau
NL comeback player of the year - Posey

So you are gonna penalize Trout even though he has better avg and cumulative stats in a shorter period of time?

Cabrera will play 160 games, Trout 130. That is a pretty big difference.

Cabrera is also on pace to hit 42 HRs and get 137 RBI.

Why?

Braun has no shot because of his offseason and because the Brewers are awful.

How many MVP's have been on non playoff teams?

A lot of people think the Pirates bow out down the stretch and don't make the Playoffs, which would mean McCutchen dips quite a bit. No playoffs, no MVP. These are predictions for the END of the year, not right now, which means you have to predict what's going to happen down the stretch.

Care to explain what's funny about that?

He's the obviously favorite to win it right now.

He isn't winning it that's why it's funny.. Easy to see why you would think that way though mr. bandwagon, Buccos, Steelers, Hornets, USC , GTFO.

You're a fricking moron.

He's leading the league in hitting and slugging right now and has his team in the playoff race. He is the favorite to win it.

No need to get mad, I don't have Cutch winning it either, mainly because I don't have the Pirates in the playoffs.

It's early August, lot of baseball left to be played.

Are you trolling or being serious?

McCutchen is easily the favorite right now.

Which is fine. I respect that.

But to act like it's funny to have him as the NL MVP is fricking stupid. The guy is the favorite right now.

Not to mention he tried calling me a bandwagoner which is also funny.
