Jason Segel leaving How I Met Your Mother at end of this season

This is sad news to me. I don't know how they are going to move on with the show with one of the five gone like that. Especially with us meeting the mother at Barney's wedding

If he leaves they should end the show, if they made Marshall and Lily break up it would be bullshite. All they could do is have them move or something, would be awful

Can't break up with Lilly permanently, they have showed them married in the future.

They already pissed all over any chance of having a good ending anyway last season so whats it matter if they want to torture the show before they put it out of its misery

This show has basically written itself into a corner where there is no possible resolution that's going to be satisfying.

If that show goes to season 9 with or without Segal its going to suck. Its getting stretched out already. Hopefully this a sign to the writers to wrap it up with season 8.

It seems like this is what everyone wants, but if it's making money they aren't going to stop. I may watch them all illegally just so they don't get my ratings bump

I had a feeling that they would have to rush the ending, but not because of this. I figured it wouldn't get renewed and they would have to make due.
