SIAP, i know this was featured in game informer a while back
this aussie tech company seems to have the answer to the limitations of texture polygons...atoms.
the potential here in the hands of real artists is enormous
Euclideon

This video has been posted a couple times.
Apparently its not as feasible as the video leads you to believe.
Not only that, I think Euclideon doesn't even exist anymore.

In a blog post, Minecraft developer Markus Persson described Unlimited Detail as a "scam", as well as a "voxel renderer, probably based on sparse voxel octrees", arguing that while Euclideon portrays the software as "revolutionary", it suffers the same limitations as existing voxel renderers. Among other concerns,

This kind of proves the theory that eventually technology such as this in games will advance so far that a person would not be able to tell the difference from real life and the game. Or that it will do so for games like the SIMS and AI will also be joined into the games, creating a literal new universe from scratch. There is also a theory that this has already happend and that we are actually a program, Matrix-esq
Either way, this is really cool

While I would like even better graphics, I'm pretty happy with where we're at now.
What I want is better games with more stuff going on. I've seen great fighting games (at least more detailed fighting games) with boxing or MMA stuff.
I've had a ton of fun with open world games like GTA and Red Dead Redemption, but the hand to hand combat is crap.
Assassin's Creed series is the best combination of good graphics and non-gun combat, but it's still fairly generic fighting.
I want a game where we can have it all. Incredible, living, breathing city that is stunning to look at. And a bad arse hero like Jason Bourne or Jack Bauer. Someone who can take on an army with an arsenal of weapons or go ninja on them with a wide variety of moves. And all this flows seamlessly in an open world experience.
I may be wrong, but I always assumed it was a power limitation as to why a game never really has it all.

As others have said, this video was posted months ago and I'm pretty sure people have "debunked" it.
It's not that is entirely fake, just not how it's described in the video

I would venture to say it would just cost way too much money to develop a game with that many layers so to speak

yeah.. sadly, it's fake.
or should I say, it's more of a "scam" than fake.

The narrator doesn't give the whole picture, in small areas it is easy to render at this level but to have a whole game is out of reach.

Even if this was real, like others have said. Large scale game can't handle it. Also the physics of the game wouldsuffer

Plus, the video hasn't even talked about how animation is handled. Its a lot easier to just show a static 3D environment.
