Jack Curry of YES Network reports that the Yankees have acquired Ichiro Suzuki from the Mariners for right-handers D.J. Mitchell and Danny Fahrquar.

Well at least he doesn't have to go very far to join his new team.

Just walk through the hallway until he gets to the visitor lock room.

Ichiro is TERRIBLE this year. I'm happy he's gone. I don't want to deal with the drama of resigning him to a terrible contract in the offseason.

Is Ichiro even still performing? I used to root for him like 10 years ago.

Danny Fahrquar.

Damn, that's giving up a ton. Been reading and many people think he could be similar to Nolan Ryan.

Adding a 38 year old player with an OBP of .288 = Championship

A .261 batting average is terrible for him but I think it will improve

he has a hit in 10 of his last 12 games played. 5 of those are multi-hit games.
he also has 4 stolen bases in that same time frame.

for the season he is batting .261 with 15 stolen bases. not bad.

An empty. 261 batting average.

All he has to do is switch dugouts tonight. That would be funny to show up to the game not knowing about the trade
