CSS-Cox Sports South Ch.48 here, has LSU/Auburn 04 when Saban was LSU's coach. He's wearing a purple shirt on the sidelines yelling at everybody. Memories.

I just noticed that we dropped eight spots for losing this game to a ranked team. That is pretty laughable.

2004 offense was underwhelming and this game was tough to watch.

The worst officiated game i'd seen ever, until 2006 which was even worse.

ironic Bama homer refs that will one day screw over LSU on the PP7 interception

It made me sick to rewatch it too. I forgot the penalty on the extra point that cost us the game, until just now. Sick.

2006 pissed me off way more bc that was a game where lsu was the better team and it was a litany of obviously bad calls. 2004 AU and 2009 Bama, lsu was inferior both times and I don't remember the officiating being as blatantly bad the whole game.

Besides the officiating, I remember Marcus Randall leading a perfect opening drive for a TD and Saban-Fisher sticking to a prescripted plan to rotate Jamarcus. It was mostly downhill from there.

travis daniels was inbounds and that turnover would have ended the game
