Coming soon from Parish Brewing

Just had lunch with Andrew, the owner/brewer, from Parish (inB4CSB) and this is what he said is in the works:
1. Area-wide release of Envie American Pale Ale...it's almost ready.
2. New Orleans release of his black IPA, Blackilicious.
3. Limited Edition release of Grand Reserve. Said it is a hoppy barleywine ale in a sealed 750ml bottle. There will only be 2000 bottles sold and it's looking to be about 10% ABV. The labels look like a small vineyard wine label and will be hand numbered.
On a side note, he's a really nice guy and seriously knowledgeable. Parish give tours from 4-6 every Friday and he keeps 4 of his experimental beers on tap for tasting after the tour if you want to have a sample or 6.
Disclaimer: This is what he said is OK to post here (I asked), but he's got some other things in the works that you guys are going to be excited about down the road.

Anyone know where to find this stuff in the New Orleans area?
I can't seem to find it.

So the chocolate city is getting some blackilicious.
Though in all seriousness, I can't wait for all his new stuff.

i thought it was all over the place. Remember it is only on draft so no store will have any. But I would assume that the Bulldog locations have it. I know the Avenue Pub had it the last time I went.

The Avenue Pub had it Friday... Or at least they had it when I ordered ( a Canebreak)

Why does their website have labeled bottles on it?

Understandable, he has been more forthcoming to the beer bloggers in the area, so if you are interested in seeing more of his ideas check a few of them out.

They are about to release (if they haven't already) bottles in the lafayette area.

Was it you who said that he had an amazing Pumpkin Porter? Do you know when/if this will be released in the upcoming fall months?

Haven't done that yet. I'll have to check the laws on that and work up a price. We're out of Canebrake til Thursday anyway. We burned through that first half-barrel in 5 days.

He didn't mention it, but I'll ask him next time I talk to him.

Don't know why the laws would be any different for you than it is for other bars (Bulldog, Chimes, Cove, etc).

Speaking of which, I need to get over to your place, I have not been over there yet.

Limited Edition release of Grand Reserve.
He was brewing that when I talked to him last week... I tried a small-scale test batch that had me a while back. It'll be a while before it's ready for release though, that sort of style needs to mature.

There may be a retail/package license involved. When dealing with ABC/ATC the "I'd rather ask for forgiveness than permission" method can land you in hot water.

Not yet... but this is what they will look like.
