The trade will send guards Anthony Morrow, Jordan Farmar and DeShawn Stevenson and forwards Jordan Williams and Johan Petro to the Hawks, along with a 2013 first-round pick the Nets acquired from the Houston Rockets. Stevenson is a free agent, so he will go to the Hawks in a sign-and-trade deal.

Looks like Deron didn't like the Mavs proposal and will be headed to BK with Joe Johnson.

Sorry Dwight

For both IMO

Nets take on a huge contract and a ballhog

ATL doesn't even get a first round pick back but does get a bunch of expiring contracts

Sounds like this is their play for Derron tonight.

Hopefully Dwill sees this and says "F that, I'll play with Dirk"

No way

Cuban doesn't want that panzy. Imagine Dirk/Dwight together? Would be like oil and water, unless Dwight wants to take 2 shots per game with 20 rebounds

Nope. They are out of the running. If Dwight wants a trade he can play one year with Lakers or Rockets

at some point the protection comes off, or that's usually how it works. I'm just happy to get out from under that deal. I didn't think they'd find a trade partner.

Why would you take yourself out of the running just to get Joe Johnson? Dwight has said he's either getting traded there or signing there next summer. What is Billy King doing???

Couldn't they still make the trade around a package of Brooks and a resigned Lopez and Green?

I get what you are saying, but Nets didn't have to surrender their 1st rounder, which would likely have been a lottery pick next year or Brooks or Gerald Green
