FB BCS 'ship

or

BB Super Regional

Both teams completely overwhelmed but which performance was worse?
(for sake of discussion, try to value FB & BB equally)

By a mile. This great baseball team was nowhere near the caliber in baseball that LSU was in football. Just sayin'

Baseball got be by a way better team. They were the only team in baseball to be top 25 in fielding, batting, and pitching.

Football we should have won.

The football game was an abomination of historical proportions. The baseball game wasn't even a national championship contest.

We had the talent to compete on the gridiron. It was wayyyy worse. It was like no scheme was even attempted, and theirs was about flawless.

And it's not even close.

The football team showed they deserved to be in new Orleans all year. The baseball team wasn't expected to make it to Omaha with those bats.

Maybe not on the large scale but if you compared the pitchers to the Quarterbacks they were equally duds.

Exactly.... Except no. It wasn't the pitchers.

Football our team was better, but so was the opponent.

Its not difficult to imagine that LSU playing its best game could still have been beaten by that Bama team. On the other hand, lights out play by this baseball team would probably have taken down Stony Brook.

Football was still worse though.

While last night felt eerily similar to Jan 9th, it's not even close. I'm already over last night. The way we lost to Bama is gonna stick with me for a long time. And I'm pretty much a baseball-first guy.

We were still in the game late against Bama. Baseball seemed to be over as soon as SB scored early in the game considering the inability we had hitting the ball.
