We have never had hitting. Our season can be summed up like this: One great pitcher, a few other good arms, a mediocre hitter that got on a good streak hitting Texas leaguers. We have nothing else.

The Sanchez supporters have so many built in excuses -- the bats and declined talent -- that they can't recognize just how bad our hitting and approach has been all year.

I would tend to agree I do not see anything special that they are doing. Tigers are just not patient enough and swinging at pitches off of the plate.
