New Century International M70ab2 AK-47

A dealer in Austin sold my wife the above gun for 800 bucks. She bought it for me for fathers day. Has the tapco trigger, says made in Georgia, VT. Came with two 30 round mags, grenade sightings and additional muzzle brake. I feel that she was ripped off, anybody know what the going rate is for one of these? I looked online and the prices seem to vary widely.

With a cheap folding stock about $625-$699. Would not pay a dime more than $725 for one, even with the Tapco trigger. Sorry that dealer needs their

Ripped Off? Shoot the hell out of it and give it time. 600 800 either way you will have a blast. In time it may hit a grand one day.

Yea, reason I say ripped off is I found some online starting around 410-450 bucks, but they were used. I just didnt want to be into an AK for 860 w/tax. I wanted a Hungarian AMD-65 built on the FEG receiver. I saw those starting at around 439-550 bucks. I know its not as good of a gun as the M70 or atleast that is what it seems like in reviews, but it is cheaper. If I am going to spend 800 dollars I would rather throw in an extra 400 to 500 and get a Colt AR. Ahh well..like you said maybe in time I can turn around and sell it for more or trade it.

That price seems a little high, but not outrageous. I wouldn't worry over it. Enjoy your gun.

that's an election season price right there. i wouldnt say she got ripped off but that's on the high side for sure

Seems a little high. I just got a Romanian made AK style rifle for 660ish with 4 30 rd mags, side rail, single point strap, and a front grip. Buds guns FTW.
